The Lions Are on Tour!
The British & Irish Lions Tour in South Africa is now underway. Commanding victories over the Sigma Lions and Cell C Sharks (twice!) bodes well but the true test will come on 24th July in Cape Town when the B&I Lions face the Springboks for the first time. The 3 match series againstSouth Africa will culminate in the final Test in August. Billed as “rugby’s greatest adventure”, Warren Gatland’s Lions have headed to South Africa to resume old hostilities and challenge their old rivals, following their impressive campaign in Japan in 2019.
