Why do you not include a bulb with the standard Rugby Ball Light?
We want you to be able to enjoy your Rugby Ball Light wherever you decide to use it. Different uses require different bulb types. We do not include a bulb with the light so that you can choose the perfect bulb for your needs.
What bulb should I use?
We recommend using LED lamps never ordinary filament bulbs. Only use an ES or E27 screw base bulb
As a guide*, we suggest the following lamps LED:
- Night light – 2w Warm White
- Ambient Light - 5-8w Warm White
- Reading Light - 9-12w Cool White
*Bulb brightness may vary by manufacturer.
My light is not working?
Have you installed a bulb? Instructions for opening the lamp are on the grey tag attached to the flex or can be found here.
If your Rugby Ball Light still does not work, our sincere apologies. Please contact the retailer you purchased from. If you bought from the Rubgy Ball Light website. Please send an email to info@rugbyballlight.co.uk to organise returning your light. You will need your original receipt.
I am buying a lamp as a gift. Will it arrive in time?
Lamps ordered before noon are usually processed the same day and dispatched on the delivery service requested. Orders placed after this time on a Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday. We recommend allowing at least 3 days to allow for any delays.
We offer an fast delivery service, at extra cost. We use the Royal Mail 24hr service. This service usually means the Rugby Ball Light will arrive the day following dispatch.
If you are ordering a Christmas rugby gift, please check the latest collection dates from the Royal Mail. We would advise ordering at least 2 days before these dates.
I ordered my lamp several days ago, and it has not arrived yet. What should I do?
It may be that the delivery person has left the parcel in a secure location at your property or with a neighbour. If the courier cannot deliver the package, they should leave a card detailing how to arrange delivery.
Over the holiday period and during industrial action delivery, services are stretched and sometimes items are delayed.
If your lamp has still not arrived, please email info@rugbyballlight.co.uk, and we will investigate what has happened.
I can’t see my favourite team on your website. Can you make me a lamp?

Professional and international teams require license agreements to use their logo, and we cannot use any logos without permission.

How did you come up with the idea for the Perfect Rugby Gift?
A few years ago, we were asked to create table centres for hospitality areas at Twickenham. We came up with the idea of the Light. After a couple of events, we were asked to manufacture more lights, as some had been taken by guests as souvenirs. It was then we realised that the light would make the Perfect Rugby Gift.
