One of the great things about being involved in rugby is the sense of community and family values associated with the sport, at all levels.  Since we launched the Rugby Ball Light, we’ve been encouraged by all the support we’ve gained – from leading professional players and ex-players to local pubs such as the legendary Cabbage Patch.

Gift of the blog
On social media, bloggers such as Tara Cain lead the way in sharing what it’s like to give up precious weekends and social time, having fun and making rugby-loving friends in the process. On the RugbyUnited site, Rachel Preston has written about the ups and downs of being a Rugby Mum, as well as tweeting @RachelBRUFC her experiences to fellow rugby fans. In 2015 three mothers got together to publish a book ‘Rugby Tackled: a Mother’s Translation’  with top tips to prepare families for the rugby-mad years ahead, as summed up via Sophie Allport’s site.
Gifts for rugby fans
Another topic of discussion at the side of the rugby field for many Rugby Mums is product and gift ideas for England rugby fans young and old. And when it comes to buying presents for the rugby fanatics in your life, for Dad’s birthday or to light up a younger player’s bedroom, the Rugby Ball Light is a winner every time.
